Giving Ideas
Explore the ways you can support the
residents who are embarked on their
healing journey at the Potter's Hands Foundation.
With your support, we will help them transform their futures.
Sponsor a Woman
Survivors come to us with very few personal items. Because the SNAP program does not consider consummables like shampoo, soap, and feminine care products "essential," our residents need our support.

Mental Health Coaching

$1258 per resident per month; $10,064 per month; $120,768 one-time gift
Materials and Supplies
It doesn't matter how much we want a clean house, if we don't have cleaning supplies. Or how much we'd like to print shipping nutrition labels for our fudge, if we don't have the labels. Your gifts ensure that we can pursue the projects and initiatives that help our residents become strong, independent, and healthy in mind, body and spirit.
$40 per resident per month; $320 per month; $3840 one-time gift
Gas Cards
Your gift will cover the cost of transporting residents to mental, physical, and spiritual appointments in the community. Our safe home is in a peaceful, serene location, making it an ideal haven to heal and move forward. Our location does require time strategic and financial planning to ensure that all residents arrive on time for their many life-changing sessions.
$44 per resident per month; $352 per month; $4224 one-time gift
A Night Out To The Movies
We go to the movies to relax and unwind. We also go to wrap ourselves in another world, a world that can't touch us or impact our reality in any way. So do our residents. Movies are a chance to escape their sometimes all too real life for a couple of hours.
$10 per resident per month; $80 per month; $960 one-time gift
Personal Care Items
Survivors come to us with very few personal items. Because the SNAP program does not consider consummables like shampoo, soap, and feminine care products "essential," our residents need our support. The desire to care about our personal health and appearance is a critical step in a survivor's healing journey.
$20 per resident per month; $160 monthly total; $1920 one-time gift
A Night Out Roller Skating

$13 per resident per month; $104 monthly total; $1248 one-time gift
Dinner Out For The House
Many of our residents endured childhood, rather than enjoying it. A dinner out with housemates boosts mental health, builds communication skills, allows residents to strengthen relationship-building skills, and lower age-old walls that they built to "protect themselves."
$20 per resident per month; $160 monthly total; $1920 one-time gift
Tennis Rackets For The House (6-8)
Physical activity is good for our heart and mind. Tennis works every muscle and engages the mind!

Internet Access
Access to the Internet is sometimes a luxury … scrolling through social feeds and surfing websites. For our residents, it a vital tool necessary for stabilizing their future. For instance, many of our residents use the Internet to arrange and confirm court dates.

Phone Access
Feeling like you belong is a basic human need. Our residents all started with a "community": family members. Often, that first call is the turning point in reestablishing access to a supportive community that will embrace them and help them along their healing journey.

$25 per month; $200 per month; $2400 one-time gift
Journals
Our residents use journaling to reduce stress, shake feelings of depression, and reduce anxiety. Survivors journal to face fears and problems and to see challenges from different perspectives.
